Multi Grade Water Filter
The Multi-Grade Water Filter (MGF) is an advanced, deep-bed pressure filtration system designed to remove high concentrations of suspended solids, turbidity, and fine particulate matter from raw water.
Key Features
- • Graded Media Layering: Utilizes a meticulously calculated configuration of multi-layered media—ranging from coarse gravel and anthracite at the top to fine silica quartz sand and garnet at the bottom.
- • Deep-Bed Filtration: Unlike conventional single-media sand filters that only trap dirt on the top surface, the multi-grade design forces water through progressively tighter layers, trapping particles throughout the entire depth of the filter bed.
- • High Throughput & Efficiency: Operates at significantly higher filtration velocities and flow rates than standard sand filters while providing a much higher dirt-holding capacity and lower pressure drop.
Applications & Uses
- Application Engineered as an essential pre-treatment system to protect downstream equipment in Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plants, and industrial process lines.
