Base treatment Plant-BTP
The Base Treatment Plant (BTP) is a highly specialized industrial wastewater system engineered to safely manage, neutralize, and treat highly caustic, high-pH alkaline effluents generated during industrial manufacturing processes.
Key Features
- • Alkali-Resistant Engineering: Fabricated using specialized materials and protective coatings—such as High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Polypropylene (PP), and heavy-duty epoxy liners—that prevent structural degradation from highly alkaline chemicals.
- • Automated Acidic Neutralization: Utilizes digital pH transmitters and automated dosing loops to precisely inject acidic neutralizing agents (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, or carbon dioxide gas) to safely adjust the effluent to a neutral pH range.
- • Solids Separation: Designed to handle and precipitate hardness ions, carbonated compounds, and organic soaps that commonly form in high-pH industrial wastewater.
Applications & Uses
- Application Critical infrastructure for textile dyeing mills, pulp and paper processing, commercial laundry facilities, chemical synthesis, and food processing plants before wastewater can be safely routed to secondary treatment lines or an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
