Acid Treatment Plant- ATP
The Acid Treatment Plant (ATP) is a highly specialized industrial wastewater system engineered to safely manage, neutralize, and treat highly corrosive, low-pH acidic effluents generated during manufacturing processes.
Key Features
- • Corrosion-Resistant Metallurgy: Constructed using highly durable, chemical-resistant materials such as Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (FRP), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), or specialized rubber-lined steel to withstand extreme acidity.
- • Automated Dual-Stage Neutralization: Utilizes digital pH sensors and automated chemical dosing pumps to precisely inject alkaline neutralizing agents (such as sodium hydroxide or lime) to stabilize the water to a neutral pH range (6.5 to 8.5).
- • Heavy Metal Precipitation: Engineered to induce the precipitation of dissolved heavy metals (common in acidic waste) into solid hydroxides so they can be coagulated, flocculated, and mechanically separated.
Applications & Uses
- Application Vital infrastructure for chemical manufacturing, electroplating facilities, steel pickling lines, mining operations, and battery manufacturing plants before discharging effluent into secondary treatment lines.
